New camera

There's a new camera set up on woonsocketweather.com.  I purchased a used Axis 211 IP camera from an aquantance.  This can be viewed any time, night or day.

The frame rate on this camera is at 30 fps during the day time.  At night, it's about one every two seconds.  That is due to the low shutter speed, which allows you to see quite well in low light.

Armadillo Stack

I've been posting to my blog for years.  The blogs I've used so far have been okay, but I've always had to subscribe to a 3rd party blog site to host the blogs.  Today, with the addition of a new RapidWeaver stack, I can now host it all on my server.  It may be true that Wordpress was hosted there, but the stack gives me so much more freedom to customize.

So, now I will move the few posts that I had using Tumblr to my server.  Fortunately, there aren't many.

My sweet patootie knows that I have never outgrown toys and can never have enough of them.  This short video shows my attempt at learning to fly an AirHog RC aircraft with a built in camera.

The wildlife camera has taken some interesting photos.  The camera is strapped to a 4x4 post that my rain gauge is attached.  There is also a salt lick on the post.  But I don’t think the deer have even touched that.

This camera also takes video.

Irene took down about 5 trees this morning.  Here are two photos.

Dale was helping set up the wildlife camera.  He’s testing the motion sensor.  This camera will take daytime or nighttime photos.
